On since 2008, Vetronova are planning to record the debut album soon, in the meanwhile you can get the sound from two EPs (S/T and Madeleine). Italian indie rock, a bit noisy  but quite catchy. If you want to know the influences, where you can find Vetronova and some quite interesting facts, just go on reading.

Introduce the band to somebody who’s never heard of you:

Vetronova  are three guys from the prov. of Varese, near Milan. They play together since January 2008 and have recorded two self produced Ep (S/t 2008 – Madeleine Ep 2010). Matteo, Raffaele and Tommaso combine different musical tastes and the desire to express themselves and develop their music in different directions. They held several concerts in northern Italy and waiting for the moment to record their first full length.

Three words to describe your sound:

psychedelic, scratchy, enveloping.

Artists who influenced your music:

Slint, Fugazi, Sonic Youth, Massimo Volume, Zu, Motorpsycho, Cccp/Csi,  Television, and many more.

What are you up to at the moment:

We’re playing together and working on new material. We hope to record our first album so we will have a complete work with the music and experiences of these years.

Tell us something nobody knows yet, tell us something exclusive:

Matteo during a holiday in New York has recently taken a new guitar with which he hopes to find the sound wanted. Raffaele play baritone guitar and bass, composing articulated and irregular rhythms. Tommaso offers his tavern and the patience of his family for our noisy play. We continue on our way without changing our sound and attitude, trying to live rock music in a creative and passionate way.
